To all who supported us with their finances, their encouragement and their prayers, we thank you. As you read the account of our trip via this blog, I hope you realize that you were a valuable part of our team. Without you, the trip wouldn't have been the same. Our Mission
We are headed to the Bondo Region of Western Kenya (summer 2010) to serve a young African church that is just starting out. We will be sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ throughout the village of Akala. With the help of a translation team, we will go into homes, school and prisons to visit with the people there and tell them about the hope found only in God. Our team, from Cypress Creek Church, is partnering with the Presbytery of Mbale, Uganda to do this good work.

Mike Okiambo and his new wife will be pastoring the church in Akala, Kenya which is in the Nyanza district near Bondo.
